Hypafix

Hypafix is a hypoallergenic zinc oxide tape that conforms well.

Hypafix is made of an apertured, non-woven polyester fabric and is coated with a layer of acrylic adhesive. The roll is also protected by a release paper backing.

The air and moisture permeability lets skin breathe and prevents maceration. Hypafix is a non-woven dressing retention tape that is comfortable to wear.

Hypafix is ideal for securing dressings, tubes, instruments and catheters.

The tape allows you to secure quickly and easily and is stretchy so you can use it on hard to tape areas.

The polyester fabric is very wear-resistant once applied and so can be left in position for prolonged periods of time.

There is no need to remove Hypafix before the patient is to be x-rayed as the fabric and adhesive mass are radio transparent.
