Disposable acupuncture needles from SEIRIN have set the standard worldwide. The needle points are ground until they are as sharp edged as diamonds, and polished three times to the siliconize tip. The needle point passes through the skin surface without causing pain. The needles are cleaned through electrolysis, steriliesd with ethylene oxide gas and are individually blister packed. Various needle sizes can be easily identified by the different colours of the needle heads.
